Guide K. is a human and reader's guide to Kukučín's life and work, several short stories from his home environment, but especially lesser-known works he wrote after leaving for South America. At the same time, Kukučín himself appears in this text as a guide to the author, who sets off with him on a journey to Punta Arenas and from there further into the wild Patagonian interior. Finally, they both accompany us with their reflections on life and love, death, and what home actually is.

Michaela Rosová (1984)

Michaela ROSOVÁ was born in Senica. She is a two-time finalist of the literary competition Poviedka (Short story) (2005 and 2006), in 2006 she won a prize in the literary competition Román (Novel). She debuted with the novel Hlava nehlava (2009). In 2011, she published the novel Dandy, which was in the final shortlist of Slovak literary prize Anasoft litera.
