A poetic retelling of the story about the life of little Elizabeth. She longed to fly but she lost her wings because she disobeyed.

A poetic retelling of the story about the life of little Elizabeth. She longed to fly but she lost her wings because she disobeyed. In the end she gets them back - but not the way she had thought. On her journey to wings she is left by parents, grandma Anči and grandpa Janči, later by her husband. Three children and then grandchildren jump out of a glass marble. The narration is full of author's typical poetics and metaphors. Thanks to them it is deep and powerful. The whole story is a birthday gift from a son, Daniel to his mother, Elizabeth. That is why the book is so personal and universal at the same time, just like the story. It is about desire and pain of it not being fulfilled, about the great Blue above us and in us, about the pain and the sorrow of loss, about the joy of having someone close, about patience and uniqueness of every single one of us and, of course, about love.
