The Last Supper of Leonardo di Vinci
Stano Lajda
It is thus intended not only for art lovers, fans of the Renaissance man and artist da Vinci, but also for art students and the professional public.
The author of the book Stano Lajda is a contemporary Slovak painter standing on the imaginary border of figurative realism and surrealism or fantasy art. He does not seek to assign himself to any particular current and persistently devotes himself to figurative painting. For many years his work has been accompanied by a fascination with the work of the greats of art history, and in particular with the legacy of the genius Leonardo da Vinci. A lifelong study of his Last Supper - both practical and theoretical - has led him to create a faithful reconstruction of this work.
It is the story of the painting of the Last Supper that the author brings to life in Leonardo. It is thus intended not only for art lovers, fans of the Renaissance man and artist da Vinci, but also for art students and the professional public.
