Sometimes the heart can grow to such proportions that the neighborhood complains about it for disorderly conduct. For example, when a person thinks of others, it begins to beat more strongly. The heart has its own music, but it has no partner; it just beats and echoes. Everything is music when you know how to listen. Visual artist Han Donau speaks through images and words. Her picture book Lake, her first authorial work, was selected by the jury at the Bologna International Book Fair in 2024 for THE BRAW AMAZING BOOKSHELF as an exceptional work among 3,355 titles. The book was also selected in the Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia 2023 competition.
